Disappointing to say the least. We never even got to see our room because of an unpleasant experience with a front desk clerk. In my 10 years of working in hospitality, I've never seen an employee who was more inconvenienced, showed no empathy for our situation, condescending, and rude. We showed up early (yes, we were aware of the 4 pm check-in) and simply asked if he could keep us in the loop when something became available because our baby needed to nap in the afternoon. He made it seem like something would become available and that we would be first on the list. I said no problem. We came back 2 hours later, and I asked him, and he simply said that he just came back from his break and that he would call me within an hour. I said no problem. My wife then went back, and he was a complete jerk to her, telling her how he told me that check-in is at 4 pm and that nothing would be available until then. He repeatedly told her that 4 pm check-in was listed everywhere. When I told him to go ahead and cancel the reservation, he simply said "okay". Pretty sure he just wanted to go back to his browsing session on the computer. Safe to say we will never come back here again.
