While the staff was courteous and the room was clean, we felt the king size bed the room was supposed to come with was more like a full sized bed that lacked support, which made the sleep quite uncomfortable. The heating situation was almost unbearable as it wasn’t attached to a thermostat so in the middle of the night we’d be overheating and would need to turn the heater off, which meant we’d then get frozen awake. The pillows had no structure, which meant you could layer two or three and still felt like you were resting on one. The facilities are definitely a little outdated and with the steep resort fee, we really expected much more in terms of amenities like a complimentary breakfast. The jacuzzi looked uninspiring and was a bit too far of a walk in the freezing cold to enjoy. Housekeeping is always upon request and you have to be explicit about what you’d like to have cleaned, which felt a little Scrooge-ish. All in all for the price we paid, we likely would try a different option next time!
