All the above what really stands out is the staff. Ava was very professional but still remained friendly. Then we have Max very pleasant young man who took a moment to answer our questions and explain the National sport of hurling. The true superstar was Anna who went above and beyond to help one of our friends who wasn’t feeling well.

Excellent Hotel centrally located in Waterford. Outdoor Parking is available across the street, we had no issues finding a spot. Our Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom fixtures were a little dated but served us well. Great Pub for dinning with friendly service and good food. Great place to stay in the area.

The Granville Hotel in Waterford is not only steeped in history, but is spotless, well maintained and has the most comfortable bed I've slept in my entire trip! Kudos!

We had a nice comfortable room at the Granville, overlooking a courtyard. However it was a bit of a trek to get to and as far as we could see there was only one extremely small elevator to service the whole place. Two people with large bags take up the entire space; once settled we used the stairs. And there are multiple doors to go through along with little sets of stairs to go up and down. Anyone with mobility issues must request an easily accessible room. Check in and out was very easy. Staff were very nice, making recommendations we asked for. We didn't have breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely and we appreciated the live music in the bar later on. Location was perfect since we could easily walk to all the main sites we wanted to explore.

Fiona at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodative. She made our trip the best by suggesting restaurants, tours and just being overall friendly. We would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Waterford.

Comfortable room, with kettle for tea & instant coffee - would be nice to have an espresso machine in all the rooms not just some. Nice little welcome card & cookies upon arrival! You can request an iron for your clothes. We had a quayside view which is great but currently a building site as they build the new bridge. Fortunately we were there over a weekend so the noise was minimal. Decent breakfast, some buffet style and some dishes made to order like the eggs & avocado blaa. Although they did try to charge us for a breakfast on a day we didn’t have it.

Really a nice place to stay.! However if you have luggage such as we had (traveling for 10 days) , there is no parking right at the hotel. You have to park 2 blocks down the street.So bringing luggage into the hotel is cumbersome. Staff, restaurant was excellent.

Nice old hotel and friendly staff but the tour bus crowds fill up the restaurant and bar and make the place extremely noisy with their 24hr turn overs. Ear plugs required to sleep.
