Modern hotel in an excellent location. Room was spotlessly clean with a big, comfortable bed and plenty of room. Huge bathroom with a waterfall shower. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Reasonable bar prices. Couldnt fault it and had a great stay

Lovely hotel, clean and freshly painted with what appears to be new carpet in lobby, stairs. Room, beds, were comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Manager, Karen, was great at check in. Ate dinner in restaurant. It was good. I asked for no roll so don’t judge by picture. Waitress was funny and knowledgeable. We learned about “Baa” bread and some beer facts. Only complaint we had was shower water pressure. Very poor pressure. Hard to wash hair and rinse.

Great spot

We stayed here the night before a large competition that was taking place in Waterford. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We did have an issue with our son who has coeliac disease not being able to order anything from the lunch menu. Though when we spoke to the restaurant manager she was very helpful and helped make sure he could eat something at dinner and breakfast. Their menus do need to me updated to ensure people with autoimmune diseases and allergies can eat in their restaurant. Overall a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel but…

We had travelled to Ireland and came to Waterford by train from Dublin. We wanted to be close to Waterford's Crystal as this was one of the main attractions we came to see. In the hotel description it said it was close by. It was not. As we had planned to walk to all of the sites we wanted to see. Overall the hotel was comfortable, the staff great, but not in walking distance of downtown. You will need to hire taxis

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff on reception was very friendly and the night porter was great when we needed access after midnight as had to pop out to do a pickup from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a fantatstic selection, we got down early so everything was very fresh and breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, will definitely be returning for another nights stay!
