Communication with the host & Sunny Maui Vacations was horrible. I tried calling & texting but the response time was unacceptable. By the time I did get a response, it was too late. Got no information about the flooding in Kihei & was not able to get to the resort. After reaching Kihei, it took over an hour to get the resort. During that time tried getting a hold of the host & Sunny Maui with no response.I was told by the property manager on site that it is Hawaii state law that text messages/email should be sent to the guests 1-2 times a day which I never received.Spoke with the property manager on site the next day and he said he tried getting into contact with the host & Sunny Maui but did not get a response until several hours later.I did get 1 response the next day but the information provided was for the previous day which did not do us any good & was useless. Further more, got no required text info/update for the rest of our stay.
