Do not recommend if you want to sleep. No insulation or soundproofing. You can hear every single EVERY single thing the neighbouring rooms are doing. Not to get into too much detail but I could hear them all breathing and more…. Utterly over priced. All I wanted was somewhere to sleep soundly. 0/10 I think people giving more favourable reviews may be visiting in quiet season on lower nightly rates and no neighbours.

Warm and comfortable room with plenty of cupboard space, however found several issues such as had to boil kettle at the one bedside table and the shower screen was badly fitted and leaked everywhere. No chair to sit on. I had 3 nights and there was no towel change or any housekeeping on day 2. No freezer compartment in fridge. Good dinner restaurant in bar but Cafe very limited for bfast so have to walk up the road to a local providors. Bar and other staff very hospitable though. I didn't pursue these things as I was happy to enjoy the outdoor environment.

We arrived and were met by friendly staff. Unfortunately our room upstairs connected with another room and could not be locked. The outside balcony was full of leaves and a cigarette butt on the half wiped table. Not good enough for a $200 room. The room itself was clean. On speaking to staff we were transferred to a similiar room downstairs. Which for us was much better. Meal at pub was lovely both nights. However breakfast cafe was disappointing. Overall we had a nice stay after this hiccup.

Rooms were only completely refurbished 18 months ago, so condition is very good. Facilities were very basic. No towel rails was a pain. Rather small room, but that's ok. Travel bags on the limited floor space. No bathroom floor mat. Pain !! Kettle, tea n coffee n milk only. No other crockery or cutlery. Small fidge, ok. All together, nothing special. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Meal at neighbouring pub was ok.

Staff were very friendly. The room was clean but very basic,small and did not have any glasses for water. Nowhere to put suitcases. Only one side table. The restaurant was adequate, menu was okay. One night would be enough at this property.

Beautifully renovated rooms, clean and family friendly. We travelled with two young children, and it was perfect. Onsite cafe which opens early, and a bistro/pub but I’m not sure on the opening hours. The food was good, lovely dining area set up with fireplaces, which keep it nice and warm. ( if travelling in winter or during cold weather) They have a pool and plenty of parking. A short distance up the road is a petrol station, which you can hire snow chains and has also a little convenient store. Overall a great place to stay overnight or a few nights to rest, recover and relax.
