Located in the heart of Key Largo in a private community with 24 hour security, pools, saltwater lagoon, tennis courts, playground, marina, beach and fishing jetty.

A place where you can relax, sunbathe, swim in the pools or the saltwater lagoon, snorkel, take long walks, fish and cycle, with a great marina for boating. The community is over 22 acres in size. The marina has slips for rental.

Just a few minutes from the world's great fishing waters of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park where you can dive and snorkel among many other activities.

Our saltwater lagoon extends over the townhouse area with a beach and sun lounges for your enjoyment. The playground is conveniently located close to the pool.

This is a townhouse with three floors, three bedrooms and baths. There are breathtaking views of the lagoon from balconies facing that side. Kids are welcome!

Brand new mattresses on both Queen beds, purchased on March 2023.

Fully equipped kitchen with all necessitates for cooking and baking.

The condo is as described. Lots to do for younger and older children as well. There are two pools both were heated and comfortable. There were two kayaks for use in the lagoon but the smaller one had a crack in the bottom and unusable. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. We have rented this condo in the past and the only issue we had this time was the lack of kitchen paper towels, kitchen hand towels and laundry soap which we purchased at a local store. These items had been provided in the past. Lots of activities to do in the area as well as many places to eat. The host was available when needed. Would rent again.

Great location. Lots of space for our family! Grandparents, Aunt, and a family with very small people! Lots of room to spread out! 2 screened porches. Full service kitchen! Washer and dryer on the first floor- necessary for babies who change several times a day. We had a small problem with a toilet but the host fixed it quickly. Good restaurants in walking distance. Pools and a small beach/saltwater lagoon. Something for everyone!

Great location, lots of amenities

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It had everything we needed. Its so close to fun things too. Walk to the local bar and watch fishing boats come in. Pick up some fresh fish for dinner. Short drive to pennekamp state park, glass bottom boat ride, kayaking in the mangrove, etc. We would stay here again. Security at the gate is smooth.

Family Trip

The property was perfect for our family. We used the saltwater lagoon the kids loved it. There is porches on both front and back sides of the property. We used the screened in porch the most. The property is gated and we felt very safe. There’s two rooms on the third floor. Living room and kitchen on second floor and another living area and a bedroom on the bottom floor, entrance level. All three levels have bathrooms. The property is nearby some great restaurants and state parks. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend and stay again. Do note that the property has two sets of stairs to traverse. Anyone with elderly or small children just be aware. The host was amazing and very attentive. Key Largo stole our hearts and so happy we had a home base like this.

Great spring break!

We had a large group that booked in Kawama. We loved the amenities! The lagoon was perfect for the kids. We used the pavilion/grill area a few times and it worked well for our large group. The pools were smallish and seemed to close early. The condo itself was perfect for our needs. It had enough space to accommodate all of us, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and plates/pots/pans/etc. Location was great as well. We had no issues checking in a bit early even with the ongoing brush fires. We highly recommend walking to key largo fisheries for some fresh seafood, music, and atmosphere. The kids loved all the sea creatures by the dock and talking to the fisherman who were cleaning their catch!

Property was in good condition. Clean and comfortable. This was a return trip have stayed at the property before. Bathrooms were updated. A few minor issues. Had trouble with door lock couldn’t open it initially. Other issues were lack of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent all which we purchased at a local store. Had differculy contacting the owner.

This is our 3rd stay at this unit. We love it! The owner is very responsive and the unit is very nice and comfortable. We swim in the pools and the lagoon and also utilize the tennis courts and jetty for fishing. This place has it all! I definitely recommend staying here!

Key Largo Spring Break

This was our 3rd year at Kawama and the property does not disappoint. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We were kept entertained by the pool, lagoon and beach area. The kids went out at low tide with flashlights searching for critters. This is a great location as a base for excursions to Islamorada, Key West and Marathon. We also took a fishing charter from the marina at Key Largo Fishery with Underwater Cowboy and had a great time. Afterward the food there was fabulous. We will definitely return again.

Great property, great location

This is our 2nd time staying in this condo. It is nice, clean, and efficiently equipped. Tankless water heater is a plus! Washer and dryer are large too. The property has 2 pools (one is now cooled in the summer months) and a lagoon. The kids love it all! We are scuba divers and the condo is located within 5 minutes of most major dive boats. The owner is very responsive to messages and very easy to work with. I would recommend this condo.

Great location the views and grounds were Beautiful, made some friends at the pool. The animals were a sight to see. The condo was just perfect. I would stay there again. We had a wonderful time.. Everything that you could want was there. Thanks for the memories.

The Yacht Club location and amenities were great. There are multiple pools, an awesome lagoon and beach access with a peninsula for sunset watching. The Owners were very friendly and responsive and easy to work with. The unit itself was a bit more rundown than the description might let on. The two lower bathrooms, while updated, are incredibly small and tough to shower in. Also, the water temperature was a bear to get right. Either very hot or very cold. The unit was definitely surface cleaned, but there were areas clearly not well vacuumed or cleaned. Specifically, the lower bedroom/sleeping area. Overall, it was a great stay and we have no major complaints, though we'd likely look at other units if we came back.

Excellent location, owner easy to contact and great communication. Always felt safe and secure here. Beautiful location. Only negative was the beds need upgrades as they were not very comfortable but would definitely stay in this location again.
