A Guilty Pleasure

THIS is a guilty pleasure. Love the location and isolation of this property. They have a couple dining options and great room service. Most importantly, they’re pet friendly and my “boys”, Louie and Logan are treated like rock stars. Great walking grounds, and the rooms are fabulous where you just want to stay in and relax.

What a hidden and unexpected gem. Our suite was spectacular and the balcony overlooked the well groomed and maintained golf course. Keswick Hall is an amazing property if you are looking to stay just outside of Charlottesville in a quiet area but still have all the amenities you could ask for. Their rooms are beautiful with gorgeous marble bathrooms. So many little touches that make a difference like having controls for the room lighting by each bed. Breakfast at Marigold was delicious. We got coffees and pastries at the little shop near the lobby on our last morning which was also wonderful. The property is so peaceful and pretty to walk around. We haven’t gotten to enjoy the pools as we have only visited here in early spring but they are beautiful as well

Keswick's renovation took the resort to the next level...that is even if this was possible. The entire facility is an expression of greatness...a gem...a Magnum Opus in the heart of Virginia. The room was perfect...5 Stars, and the Marigold Restaurant (by Jean-George's) .was one of the finest meals I have ever had anywhere in the world. As they say...the quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten. The is a MUST destination if you haven't already enjoyed the splendors of the Keswick Inn.

There is only one suggestion that I would make. My husband and I had an 8 am tee time. Being diabetic, there was nothing in the coffee shop I could eat. I suggest hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc. Also, we are early risers so something other than a sweet would be good.
