We opted for a nicer king-bed room, and it was so worth it. We were right by the river with a lovely deck where we could sit and enjoy our morning coffee. Clean and comfortable room -- it was great.

The room had a cabin in the woods type feel. Our room had a little porch with a table that we could sit at and watch people play in the river. The sheets were very soft and did not feel like hotel sheets at all.

Riverview lodge is our happy place we absolutely love going there every year and look forward to going back! Owners are so kind and welcoming we always appreciate the hospitality and warmth they exude. Right in the center of town if you want to walk to dinner or walk to get a drink. We loved the location; close proximity to most everything.Manager/owner was friendly and accommodating. The coffee was delicious, appreciated,and perfectly equipped with creamer, etc, however, it didn’t make up for more than a few things needing improvement inside the rooms. What we did not like was the condition of the room and bathroom. While cozy and the sheets, blanket, and towels were clean and nice and soft, what would have made our stay more pleasant and comfortable would be an updated toilet seat and faucet in the bathroom as well as some newer comfortable chairs to relax in. The ones there were old and uncomfortable-something a bit more reclining would be sufficient, or at least, newer. The main door was not sealed to the outside allowing air to escape causing the ac to work less efficiently. We also noticed some mold growth on the ceiling above the shower. I also took a towel and cleaned behind the door(found dust and dirt on it)and off of the baseboard in the bathroom for the next guest. If asked if we would stay here again as it stands, I would say no, we would not. However, we would be willing to pay more and stay again if the aforementioned improvements were made.
