Resort was great, 4-5 pools and a couple of hot tubs to choose from. Rooms are clean, there is some renovation being do r on the property so you will hear construction noise from time to time. Overall, we had a great experience.

Our stay at Hanalei Colony Resort was nothing short of exceptional—an easy 10/10! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place. If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, and the authentic beauty of Kauai, this is it. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the lush mountains, listening to the waves, and enjoying the cool trade winds made every day feel like paradise. The climate was perfect for us—comfortable temperatures, fresh ocean breezes, and just enough tropical rain to keep everything incredibly green and beautiful. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality added so much to our experience. We completely fell in love with Hanalei and the North Shore. The slower pace of life, stunning scenery, amazing food, and friendly people made it incredibly difficult to leave. It was exactly the kind of relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Hanalei Colony Resort provided the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Whether we were enjoying the views from our lanai, exploring the area, or simply unwinding, every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. We are already planning our return trip next year. Really nice stay, great location, nice room and grounds, this place had everything you might need. Very friendly staff, we had great time.

Staff not very welcoming made ride comment. Room not as expected. Paid for ocean view and got partial ocean view and ended up changing rooms three times. Expensive prices for average food.
