Hotels with Air Conditioning in Karlovy Vary

Great location. Beautiful architecture and clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent offering many choices, both sweet and salty options, fruits, pastries. Simply wonderful! The reception both at the Hotel and the Spa were kind, well organized and pleasant. What was not that great: 1. The swimming pool is very small and too crowded. 2. While breakfast was superb, I could not help noticing the poor quality of Ajvar. 3. The reception phone number was not displayed in the room. On the last evening before my flight back to Canada, I had a Ceaser Salad at Cafe Pupp. Shortly after arrival to my room I vomited all over the bath floor. I took no alcoholic drinks during my stay nor did I eat anything except breakfast so something perhaps was wrong with the salad. I tried to find the reception phone number to call for someone to clean the room and bring me a camomile tea to calm my stomach. The phone number was nowhere to find! On QR I was able to order only a meal and bottled beverages (no warm beverages). Because I did not feel well, I could not go downstairs to ask for help; so, I cleaned slowly everything by myself while I was packing. It took me a long time. I was to wake up at 5:15 am to take a taxi to the airport so it was not really a very pleasant last evening at all. Really poor experience with Hotel Health and Safety. I have one question for the Hotel management: what would happen if your guest had a stroke or heart attack and no visible phone number to call in emergency?

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Imperial. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers lovely views. We also appreciated the complimentary transportation on two bus routes and the funicular. The only drawback is the hotel’s location on a hill, which can be difficult to walk up without transportation. Despite this, we would definitely come back and highly recommend Hotel Imperial.
