Hawaii STVR Number:  STVR-19-355146 ********FREE CANCELLATION 60 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL*****  This is not your “ordinary vacation rental”, but rather a completely renovated, highly upgraded luxury, condo, in an amazing oceanfront location that we rent out on a limited basis!             (Please take a moment and read some of the countless “5-Star” reviews from our guests who rave about their experience!).    Our condo is situated in one of the most favored locations within the resort, just steps away from the famous “Ocean Pool”, spa and BBQ.   Relax with your favorite beverage watching outrigger canoes, fishing boats and catamarans cruise by and enjoy spectacular sunsets every afternoon from the comfort of your very own lanai.   And if you're a Pickleball player, Kanaloa now has three new pickleball courts at the resort! Every square inch of our island home has undergone an extensive renovation.    Nothing was left untouched as we had this unit professionally renovated from one end to the other.    Cooks will enjoy the exceptionally well-equipped, gourmet kitchen complete with all new appliances and built-in wine cooler.  We installed new flooring, new paint, new granite and quartz counter-tops, purchased all new furniture, and installed new “smart tv’s” throughout.   We also reconfigured both the master and guest bath areas into “spa -like” retreats and decorated the home with Hawaiian artwork by local artists.   And unlike most units at Kanaloa, our condo has a dedicated air conditioning system in the master bedroom, “in addition” to the central A/C system which helps make sleeping cool and comfortable!  Most importantly, we continually upgrade our island home in an attempt to ensure your stay is most enjoyable and consistently exceeds your expectations!  We take great pride in personally managing our property to ensure the highest standards in cleaning, furnishings, maintenance, and communication with our valued guests.     We hope to have the opportunity to share our “slice of paradise” with you in the very near future!   NOTE:  Upon arrival and required registration at the Front Desk, Kanaloa Resort will charge their one-time Guest Registration resort fee of $30.00 + tax ($31.41 total) for your entire stay.  This is not a "daily" charge and it is charged to ALL Kanaloa guests regardless of which condo you occupy.  You will be issued a parking pass, informed of the House Rules, and required to sign-off that you understand and will follow the House Rules.  You will also be issued a Gate Card to operate the entrance gate during your stay and will be required to leave a $30 deposit to ensure the card is returned.

Beautiful condo, excellent location!

I could not have been more impressed with Lonna and Mike's condo! Larger than any other condo I have stayed in and beautifully decorated. Anything we could have needed in the bathroom and kitchen was supplied, and then some. Spent every meal out on the lanai with the beautiful ocean view. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again!

Beauty on the beach

This condo was so nice and well appointed. The cupboards are stocked with spices and baking basics as well as plenty of foil, food wrap and bags to make lunch for the beach. The beds are comfy and the unit is easily cooled off with central and in room AC. The lanai looks right out at the ocean pool and the beautiful crashing waves on the lava rock just on the other side of the pool. Sunsets are amazing! Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!

We just returned from a family trip to the Big Island where I celebrated my 40th birthday. I can't say enough about this condo! I appreciated being in constant communication with Lonna from the time we booked through our stay. The pictures don't do this condo any justice! The location is perfect. I appreciate that the complex is in a gated community. With access to multiple pools and tennis/pickleball courts. I was lucky to be able to enjoy perfect sunset views while sitting on the lanai most evenings. I also really appreciate all of the attention to detail that was put in to the condo. There are multiple notes and instructions throughout. We never had a question about how to use the TV, fans, etc. I highly suggest you visit the condo and take an inventory of items already supplied before you head to the store. The condo comes equipped with many of the things you would need to make your stay comfortable (spices, kitchen items, laundry detergent, etc.). We also had access to a small cooler, cooler bag and everything you would need for a day at the beach (beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards). We even tried pickle ball for the first time since we had access to all the equipment! This condo was the perfect home away from home. I hope I'm lucky enough to be able to stay there again some day.

Turned 50 in Hawaii

We celebrated my 50th birthday on the big island along with some family that lives on the island. This was a great location to go shopping, dining , and sightseeing. The condo is amazing, very well maintained, and the kitchen is stocked with everything. The view of the ocean from the lanai is gorgeous, my family and I ate breakfast every morning at the table on the lanai which is a wonderful size. The condo is decorated with a serene Hawaiian theme, we would stay here again without a doubt. Bathrooms/showers were more than ample size, linens were great. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen supplies were wonderful. Pool and beach accessories supplied were ample. Communication with owner and property manager was easy. If we could give 10 stars we would give 11! This property will not disappoint.

Fantastic condo by the water!

This condo is fantastic and the owner is an absolute doll. When we arrived, we had kona coffee and chocolates waiting with a welcome note. So kind! We arrived late (after 9pm) that first night though and even though I prepared in advance w/ the owner and it was not her fault, the property's gate was closed (always is), and they didn't have our names down to get in after hours. The gate attendant was there and nice enough to help us get access in. There were other nights where no one was at the gate so I think we lucked out having someone there at night. If you're planning late arrival, it's something to note. The condo was immaculate. Furnished so well, decorated beautifully and FULLY stocked with everything you need during your stay, even a boogie board and beach chairs. Thoughtful! Also a GREAT mattress/bed and a large master shower. Truly roomy space. The view was better than I expected and the location is right by a bbq and pool area, as well as a tennis court. Just an incredible place to stay. Wonderful neighbors for the most part. One parked in our spot our last night and was rude about it and we had to ask them to move. My ONLY real complaint and one that cannot be helped by the owner, so I feel bad mentioning it (I would want to know if I were to rent this place)-- is that the ceiling seemed thin so every night and/or early morning we were woken up by the person upstairs walking around. It sounded like loud and consistent stomping. I wondered what they were doing walking so much. One morning after a bad night's sleep this person woke us all at 5 am also, it was awful. So if you're sensitive to noise, I would rethink this place but if you're from the city- you may not notice and this is the perfect spot for you! Wonderful in every way that could be controlled and we appreciate the aloha! Mahalo!

Fabulous condo

We can’t praise this condo enough! The location is fantastic, both in terms of where it is on the island and within the resort, just a few steps from the shore and ocean pool. It is the best equipped condo I have ever stayed in, with literally everything you might need. The owner was really helpful with lists of recommended activities and in regular contact to make sure everything was ok. An amazing home from home for our vacation

AMAZING!

This was an incredible get away! I had to be on the island for work and took my husband and son with me! We had an incredible time! I cannot say enough positive things about the owners. They were so kind, easy to communicate with and go above and beyond for their guests! I stay at several VRBOS and this by far was one of my favorites! I highly recommend this place!

Best condo at Kanoloa

We recently enjoyed a week long stay at condo 2602. It was my parents (in their 70's) and my husband and me (in our 40's). We have visited Hawaii many times and in fact have stayed at condos in the Kanoloa complex before. We were all in agreement this is the best condo in the complex! The pictures on the listing are very accurate. Highlights: -view-you can see the ocean view from the kitchen, living room and lanai. We enjoyed the sunset every night! -there are three pools in the complex and the closest one is the water front pool. This is less than 30 steps from the lanai. -This was the only condo we could find with stairs from the lanai. This made it easy to get to the pool and nearby BBQ. -well stocked kitchen-both equipment and staples like flour, sugar, tea, olive oil, vinegar and spices. -closet with ice chest, games and books. -parking lot storage area has snorkel gear, funnoodles, boogie boards. -walk in closets in each bedroom. -good sized bathrooms. -welcome gift from owners (coffee, chocolates and water). -great communication from the owner. -walking distance to Outrigger Hotel (also location of the Ho'Oulu Community Farmers Market on Wednesday from 9am-2pm). -the grounds and facilities at the Kanoloa are very well kept. The only con: -the bedroom with the twin beds is a bit small. Also, would have loved if it had a queen size bed instead. There are a number of Kanoloa condos listed on VRBO but you are not going to find one with a better location and view than this one.

Beautiful Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The condo was perfect. Lonna and Mike were great hosts and so easy to get ahold of. It is obvious how much attention they pay to this condo and how much effort they put in to making the stay seamless. The condo was well appointed and had everything you could possibly need from kitchen tools to ocean and pool equipment. Beautiful Lanai and views of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect family vacation

The condo was well managed and you could tell extra effort was made to feel like home. The location was perfect. We woke up each morning and had breakfast on the lanai watching the waves, and ended the day watching the sunset. The pool and ocean are just steps away with a nice trail along the coast. And the host left plenty of beach gear which was a plus. Would highly recommend.

Spirit of Aloha in Keauhou

We enjoyed our stay and everything about this property and listing. The photos and description are accurate, communication is great, help with questions is awesome, and the property is comfortable and clean. Everything went according to plan and the advance communications. The AC works great and you’re next to a pool with a view. We cooked several meals with the great kitchen setup. Beds, pillows and linens are comfortable. We have no constructive feedback for the owner, just appreciation for a great stay!

The condo was beautifully remodeled with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the garage storage unit was stocked with items for fun and relaxation. To top it all off, the condo was spotless. The location could not have been better. The pool was close and easily accessible. The sunsets from the lanai were beautiful. You could hear the waves, see whales passing by, and on a few days we even saw some really talented surfers! We booked for next year before we left! That pretty much says it all!!

This property is even better than it’s listing! The location is perfect, it was extremely clean and you felt as comfortable as if at home. The kitchen had everything you could need. Great Condo near Kona

The Condo is perfectly maintained with very clear instructions inside for how to use all the amenities. My daughter who is super organized was impressed by how well everything was organized, maintained, and documented. The location on the island is quiet and just a short drive from Kona. We really enjoyed our dinners in downtown Kona. I have no hesitation recommending this property. You just need to pay careful attention to the instructions on how to get into the resort and condo. Once you figure that out it's all 5+ stars.

Beautifully appointed condo with lanai facing the ocean and Oceanside pool. All amenities in the home are first rate. Kitchen has everything you would ever need. Location is super as there Is a plaza up the hill road with grocery, restaurants etc. Condo and condo complex is super clean and very quiet. You are NOT near road traffic, loud beach noise, or bar noise at this condo! This condo is heavenly!

Delightful Kona holiday condo!

This stay was over Christmas totally lovely- idyllic, convenient location with views; beautifully appointed condo; and helpful owner who even checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory. The only suggestion I would have is that the king-size bed in the master is VERY and i’m Not a tall person. A small stepping stool like the ones one sees in the plantations in the Old South would be welcome!!!!
