The house was so much fun! We love the way it was decorated with antiques and was so warm and inviting! It was my husband’s birthday so, I cooked a turkey with all the fixings. It smelt so good going outside in the cold air on the porch! The barn called The Roost is fabulous and decorated beautifully! Lots to do on this property that is dog friendly. Heat/AC, sauna, Jacuzzi, board games, DVDs, pool table, and so much more! It’s impossible to get bored there! Courtney, who is the host was beyond wonderful and gracious! Our son is disabled and she made sure everything was perfect for our arrival. I can’t wait to go back again to make more memories. Thank you, Courtney!!

We had another fantastic stay at this charming Julian farmhouse! The host, Courtney is great. She's super helpful and responsive. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of space for our family and dogs to explore. We loved the tire swing and all the unique antique décor throughout the home, it added so much character and fun. The beds were cozy and all the living spaces immaculate. The peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing getaway. We’d happily stay here again and again and AGAIN!

Amazing property, feels like being home. Nothing is missing from the house. From entertainment, spaces, comforts, and even every single tool for cooking. Second time staying here and would happily do it again!

This was our second stay here for a small reunion of family and friends. Just as magnificent as our first stay, if not better. The place is so well appointed and home-y because they have thought of everything. Family style meals with a well appointed kitchen are a breeze. The hot tub, sauna, pool table, shuffleboard, and lovely grounds keep everyone happy and individually satisfied. We found it difficult to leave for our daily outings because the experience of being there day and night is so pleasant. Many, many thanks. See you next time.

Perfect family getaway

We are a family of 4 adults and we brought our dog. It was perfect! The house is charming and well stocked and met all our needs. Our dog LOVED the huge yard and we had perfect weather. The house is an easy 5 minute drive to town but we rarely left the house as we cooked and enjoyed the fire We did puzzles, watched movies and played games. The Roost game room was so cool! We didn’t spend too much time there but probably would have if we stayed longer.
