This hotel was very clean and the front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. Our room had a musty smell when we walked in but when in the room with the bed it wasn't noticeable. Would definetly stay there again.

Great property. My son complimented on how "smiley" the young man was that checked us in. We loved the hospitality and the rooms were clean, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was okay. The eggs are powdered so skip those but the ladies providing breakfast were sweet and accommodating. Great place. We will make it a point to stop here next time we are making a trip through the area. Loved Elkin!

A new stop over staple

The staff at the hotel were super friendly. Hotel was clean with a few things that were getting a bit tired. However it was a great stay and we will be back.

The room was immaculate as was the pool/hot tub area, fitness room, the lobby/breakfast area and the outside seating area around the fireplace. Breakfast was ample, a great selection and delicious. The staff was superb, friendly and eager to help. I wish this had been more than an overnight stay on the way to our vacation!!’

We stayed in Elkin as a base for hiking in the surrounding area and a vineyard visit. The hotel was quiet and very clean, the breakfast options superb, the staff helpful and pleasant. The hot tub was great after the hikes.

We have been traveling for close to 50 years and we would rate this Fairfield location as one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. It was clean, well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were exceptional. The breakfast was out of this world and the breakfast area was staffed during the entire duration. The rooms were nice, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation we would have for the hotel would be a mattress and pillow upgrade but we would still give this a 10/10.

The hotel was nice and clean. We booked last minute as the weather conditions made it difficult to continue driving to our original destination. Booking was easy, room was clean when we arrived an hour after booking. Breakfast standard, we stayed at a lot of hotels on this trip and this breakfast was the least favourite. Only issue was that we went to take our kids swimming in the morning before checkout so they could tire out before our drive back to Canada, and the pool was closed. Possibly for cleaning but there was no indication of this until we arrived at the pool in our swim gear. Children were disappointed to say the least. All in all a good experience but would have liked them to at least notified at check in or something about the pool closure.
