The staff were really wonderful and accommodating. The pool was great for my kids. The rooms were spacious. However the rooms felt dusty. The overhead shower dripped. The housekeeping service was literally just make the beds. Bins weren't emptied. Room felt dated and dusty. It's a contrast to other marriott properties we've stayed at

The service staff made all the difference - from door man to security, to reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Very friendly, approachable and very helpful. They gave 5 star treatment. Glad we stayed here for 2 nights. Will come again!

Some staff are terrible. Everything not possible. If u have 2 seperate bookings, you’ll need to change room. They do not help u combine both bookings to save the hassle on room change. Food quality can be better. Both breakfast and lounge is falling short for such a good reputable hotel. Aircon is loud. And there’s no water on one of the days!

In the past years, we stayed in numurous hotels in JB and more in other Asian countries, Renaissance Hotel JB was the only hotel that granted late check-out up to 2.00pm for all the 4 rooms I booked. We are 4 retired couples travelling at average of 5 times a year from 2022 till now and more to come.
