Resort and room were very clean, and the view from our room was great. Unfortunately, the service experience did not match the property itself. Most of the staff seemed annoyed when we asked for simple things, whether it was ordering a mimosa at the bar or asking for ice in the Diamond Club lounge. This was something we experienced daily at the restaurants, lounge, and bars throughout the resort.
Another disappointing issue was how often they were out of basic items. Three of the four days they were out of champagne for mimosas. I had to try three different bars before finally finding one that had it. Another day they were out of champagne, piña coladas, and strawberry daiquiris. It honestly felt like if you ordered something from the menu, there was a good chance they wouldn’t have it.
The food truck was good, but even there the same issue happened. One day I ordered a cheeseburger and was simply told they were out of cheese. Then I ordered the chicken patty, and they were out of that too. It became frustrating because no alternatives or solutions were really offered.
The same thing happened with the bourbon in the lounge. It was gone on day one, and every day afterward when we asked if more had come in, we were told it would be restocked that night. By day six when we left, it still had never been replenished.
Overall, the resort itself was beautiful and clean, but the lack of inventory and the attitude from much of the staff took away from the experience.
