Nature and a Spa Bath!

We enjoyed the natural surrounds and the spacious spa bath. The layout of the place was really nice and the shower was a good size. The balcony was lovely with the hammock and view.

Perfect bushland location

Only 25 minutes from Booderee National Park, this gorgeous little retreat has everything you’d want for a relaxing weekend away. Nice rioms, lovely bush outlook, and surprisingly good food and coffee at the Roadhouse next door!

Nice break away from Sydney

Pros: Relaxed, peaceful, quiet and in a stunning spot. Cabins are good with a comfy couch and hammock. They have good AC and a great Spa Bath too!
Cons: Hot water issues need resolving, more kitchen glasses (Wine), check that all lights are working, regular replacement of coffee sachets too.
Location: Only 15-20 mins drive from the stunning beaches of Jervis Bay, national parks for walks etc.
Nice relaxed retreat in the bushland, kangaroos and wallabies on the retreat too. We used the pool table in the communal area as well. The cabin was good, comfy bed and couch and a great BBQ with a huge Spa Bath with jets. But need a few more kitchen utensils, as there was only 1 wine glass and 1 champagne glass. Dead Mossies smeared onto the walls hadn't been cleaned either. Their was issues with the Hot Water too. In all we would stay here again given the location and how relaxed it is (nice hammock too), but the Cabins need a little facelift.

Relaxing place but in need of adjustment

All in all I had a really enjoyable stay. Being out of town and just being with my partner did wonders for our stress levels. The place itself was okay. It has some great features that were sadly let down by the execution. For example, the shower was large and had two separate shower heads. This would have been amazing if the water pressure allowed for the showers to be run consecutively. However, this is not a deal breaker and the Retreat can easily rectify this with some maintenance or upgrades to their pumps. Pros: Wonderful, quiet location Canoe available if desired Plenty of wildlife and walking trails Cons: Water pressure Cleanliness of facilities

Outstanding retreat away from the hustle & bustle

Pros: the seclusion the bushland surrounding the staff
Cons: some tongs in the kitchen and egg rings! (just minor stuff haha)
Location: A little bit out of town, but that was the beauty of this hidden wonderland. Quiet and tranquil
Amazing Lovely greeting from owner Room was clean and tidy Quiet retreat where you could just relax and forget about your worries

Beautiful surroundings in fantastic luxury cabin

Really enjoyed our stay whilst competing at a triathlon in husky. The spa bath and verandha hamoock providing perfect recovery tools. Really lovely quiet surroundings. Only criticism is that pillows were very high.

All about location & romance

I am a single traveler but was attracted to this obviously 'couples' venue by the peaceful, close to nature feel & proximity to walking tracks & landscapes I wanted to explore. It's a winner if you are after natural beauty (eg native birds, a mob of kangaroos that feed on the adjacent meadow) privacy (no phone in the room, no reliable signal to my telstra or Vodafone devices, no wifi details given or discoverable) or romance (spa bath with bush view, double sized shower cubicle, comfy bed). However, the cabins are dated, worn looking, lack class & have limited facilities. Mine had a malfunctioning front door lock, an unworkable microwave, missing light globe, only 1 toilet roll, no milk/cold water/mini bar etc on offer. If you want anything (like extra towels or loo rolls) you have to walk/drive to reception which is quite a way back along the access rd - or text if you have any signal. I was after a bit more for the 4 star price.
