Gorgeous Views! Waterfront, Elevator, Pool, Kayaks, Day Docks, & Fishing

In August 2016 we purchased “Our Topsail Escape” which is a 2100 sq. foot duplex located in Queen’s Grant subdivision in Topsail Beach. We choose Queen’s Grant because of what it offers (beach crossovers only 600 feet away to a beach that is never crowded, a pool, private boat ramp and day docks, basketball court, playground and more.).

When you reach to top floor, there are hardwood floors, an open floor plan with a back wall of windows to enjoy the views, vaulted ceilings, and a fully stocked kitchen (including dishwasher, pots and pans of all different sizes, blender, coffee maker, mixing bowl, cooking utensils, and toaster to name a few items) with lots of cabinets, a new iridescent back-splash which reflects different colors depending on the sun, a granite counter tops, and a large 4-seat bar. We have added a separate refrigerator for beverages so you don’t run out of room in the refrigerator. In the dining area there is a counter height dining room table which seats 8. There is a sitting area with 2 chaise lounge chairs for relaxing. In the living room area there is a couch, a love seat, 2 chairs, and a wall mounted 75 inch 4K SMART TV with sound bar! You can sit and read in the chaise lounge chairs; play many of the available board games; watch available DVDs, Netflix, HBO, to name a few; or even play with the WII. Lastly through the sliding doors there is a deck, which is great to enjoy your morning coffee, eat a meal at the table for 4 or enjoy a beverage, as the views are fantastic.

All the bedrooms are on the second floor. The home features a master suite that includes the master bedroom, a walk out deck overlooking the canal, walk-in closet, and an en suite bath with a double vanity and walk-in shower. The bedroom includes a king size bed and wall mounted 48 inch LED SMART TV. Two other bedrooms provide additional sleeping arrangements. One of these rooms features a queen sized bed, along with amenities such as a walk-in closet and wall mounted 32 inch Smart TV with Ruko. This room also allows for access to the deck overlooking the water. The other room includes a full size bunk bed and a twin trundle bed. This room further includes a wall mounted 32 inch Smart TV with Ruko and a DVD player, along with kid-friendly DVDs. This room is spacious and great for the kids! There is a second bathroom on this floor with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. On the second floor is also a stacked washer/dryer combination in case you need to do some laundry while you are there.

When you arrive, you pull into the carport. The carport can hold two to three vehicles and there is additional parking in the front of the community. Behind the shed there is an outside shower with hot and cold water, which is great after a day at the beach. We have also added a clothesline in the carport to hang your stuff up. When you enter the house on the ground floor, there is a large mudroom with a desk great for those who want to work from the beach. The room is large enough to also hold your beach and fishing gear. In this area there is elevator access. The elevator goes to all three floors and is a great asset as you won’t have to carry heavy items, like suitcases, coolers, or groceries, up the stairway.

We get asked often what is there to do at Topsail Beach? There are kayak tours, jet ski tours, dinner cruises, fresh seafood markets, restaurants ranging from fast food to gourmet, shopping, family friendly attractions such as mini-golf, and more adult-friendly activities like party boats. The area also includes grocery stores for picking up your vacation staples and religious establishments. The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center is nearby and if you want something for the kids, look at summer classes at Ecological Marine Adventures. But what if you don’t have your own boat, jet ski, kayak or bikes, you can rent them locally and have it delivered to the house. A short thirty minute drive will bring you to Wilmington and the surrounding areas, where you can investigate sea life at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or explore the WWII battleship, the USS North Carolina. Wilmington also boasts numerous opportunities for shopping, the Wilmington Riverwalk, a variety of tours, and some great Southern cooking.

Please note: The community pool is open Beginning of May through End of October and is operated by the Recreation Homeowners Association.

“Our Topsail Escape” is dog friendly with a $200 non-refundable pet fee. Limit of 2 dogs up to 50 lbs. each. We have 1 dog crate on site.

Bedding: K, Q, full bunk bed (2 full beds) with a twin trundle. Sleeps 9.
Linens are not provided. A list of linen providers will be recommended in the rental contract.

There are 3 Outdoor security cameras. Those 3 comprise a doorbell camera, and 2 camera's in the carport.
