I can not recommend this property enough. We were there for only 1 night stayed in the standard queen and it was wonderful even though it was raining. Dinner at their restaurant was very delicious. Staff is unbelievable from front desk to the bars. Will be highly considering Hotel Sutter for my wedding.

My wife and I only stayed 1 night during the week, Hotel was clean but they were doing maintenance in the rooms in the morning and at evening time there were a group of people on the Balcony right next to our window, they were pretty loud, the food at the restaurant was excellent we had lamb shake and the staff was awesome.

Splendid location in the middle of shopping, dining, tasting rooms, antiques shops…and a short drive to the Jackson Rancheria casino. Our stay at the hotel was about what I expected. If you set your expectations on a quaint, older property with few frills then you won’t be disappointed. I should have done a better job looking at the various rooms online prior to booking, as our room was small and not well-ventilated, the bathroom equally as small, and the bed was not particularly comfortable. The people are all great…very friendly, helpful, making sure you’re good. The property itself was clean and quiet when it counted. An enjoyable stay, but not one we’ll likely repeat.
