Parking spot was saved for us, which was excellent (and needed in the Istanbul traffic) and the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Only slight isdue was the air conditioning, which we struggled to get loe enough, but would still highly recommend the hotel. Thanks for the stay.

Nice and clean hotel. The staff are very helpful and gave advice when we asked them for information. The hotel was at a walking distance from everything in Sultanahmet. The breakfast was also very good. I would definitely recommend to others.

A hidden gem in HISTORIC ISTANBUL

HOTEL SULTANS ROYAL This is a hotel very well located. Within walking distance to historic downton Istanbul, Santa Sofia, and Blue Mosque. The rooms were comfortable, The breakfast was ok. The hotel Staff was AMAZING. They helped us with the luggage at check in and at check out. They also arrange for us PRIVATE VAN PICK UP at the airport, and back to the airport when leaving. I strongly suggest you to arrange with the hotel a private pick up, as believe me, YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE TAXI DRIVERS IN ISTANBUL !!!! I believe "the owner" was at the reception all the time, He helped us a lot. Gave GREAT ADVISE where to go, what to visit, where to eat, etc. First night we had dinner at a small restaurant he recommended, right on the corner of the hotel. Great recommendation. Great food. This is a GREAT HOTEL, GREAT SERVICE, we will definitively come back.

Our best 5 days in Istanbul!

The hotel was super convenient and comfortable with easy walking access to all parts of the city. Rasheed at front desk was a gentleman and gave us very good advice on where to go each day and which restaurants to try. Sonia at the breakfast room was the best. She took good care of us with a special touch everyday and a big welcome smile all day. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit.

Great, homey refuge close to attractions

This hotel is a wonderful little refuge. Not far from the main tourist attractions (10-15 minute walk), but far enough to avoid the awful crowds and noise of the more central Sultanahmet areas. It's actually close to some of the better restaurants in the old town (check Eater). The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and the hotel is generally cozy feeling. It is not the newest, most polished place- but at the price point and location it is a really great value, and even picky travelers will be ok with the cleanliness and space. Most importantly, the staff are truly wonderful and very personable. They are warm, helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us. This had a real impact on our stay, and gave it a personal touch that made the experience worthwhile.

We were a group of four. stayed there in a suite. We really loved it. Rashid and Mahmoud from front desk were always helpful. Salma from breakfast area was always checking with you to make sure everything is good. All attractions are in close proximity. I highly recommend this place.
