We literally had to wait hours for pool towels. We had no toilet paper in the room and when we called and asked for sheets and blankets for the pull out bed, they made my husband go down to the front to get them … in fact he is there now and has been gone a while. Would not recommend

I booked a villa for 3 adults. I slept on the pull out sofa. There was no bedding in the room for the pull out sofa. The phone in the room did not work so I had to go to the lobby. When I went to the lobby, I was given sheets and a blanket but told there were no extra pillows. I understand it was off season but there seemed to be limited staff onsite. Also, for anyone looking at the villas, there is no door to the bedroom so there is a lack of privacy. It is a nice space for a couple or maybe a family with children but be aware of the privacy. Sounds from the bedroom are heard throughout the unit. There is a kitchenette but no utensils plates etc. There is a BBQ to use in the courtyard but hard to use with no utensils unless you bring your own. Also BBQ is charcoal so you need to bring your own. Facility indicates kayaks and paddle boards to use and fees charged for this and beach use. There were only 2 paddle boards which I did not see until the morning That I checked out. There were 3 kayaks but one had a hole in the bottom and couldn't be used for more than a few minutes as it filled with water. Guests did not adhere to signing the equipment out as there was no sigh indicating a need to do so. Facility is dog friendly and had a doggie poo bag station.

It's a great property. Very close to restaurants and two microbreweries. Easy access to the beach, with free amenities like kayaking and paddle boarding. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.

A great base for exploring the keys

The Hadley house was perfect for our family of four to use a base to explore the Keys. The breakfast is a simple continental but it was enough to get us started for the day. Pool villa room was plenty of space for us to spread out, the kids used the pull out sofa mattress and we had a separate bedroom. Furnishings were on the cheaper side, but by no means were we disappointed in the room. We even had our own car port. There is a Publix grocery store just minutes away and we took advantage of the onsite propane grill to cook some of our meals. There is a boat rental company on the property that is separate from the Hadley house but we spent some time by renting a boat for two full days (pay cash to save). Alligator Reef Lighthouse is visible from the property, and the sand bar is just a mile away by boat. it was very convenient to pull into the dock and walk to our room to clean up and rest. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again next time we want to explore the Keys.

My partner and I stayed in a pool villa for 1 week in Feb. 2025. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay on Islamorada with lower expectations, this is an option. My positive feedback: private covered parking was great; upon check-in the room was clean & smelled good; the pool was nice & well maintained; being on the ocean was lovely; the hotel’s location near shops & restaurants was very convenient and within walking distance. The front desk staff were friendly, too. My negative feedback: the pool deck was not clean/maintained; we requested our room be cleaned but housekeeping never showed up; we were told to put excess trash outside our front door, where it sat for almost 2 days; the bed & pillows were very uncomfortable; the room was in need of maintenance, repairs, & new patio furniture; the hotel ran out of OJ and shampoo for several days. Overall, I believe they were short on staff and need a maintenance crew. The pool villa we stayed in needed a total overhaul.

I am a frequent traveler and this is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The toilet wasn’t working for two days and we had to make sure we “did our business” at restaurants and places before going to the hotel- we literally were so uncomfortable having to hold it in- ridiculous. It didn’t end there- my boyfriend showered and I passed him what should have been a clean towel and it had brown stains on it appearing to be feces- he dried himself before seeing it- threw up and had to re-shower. We complained so much they finally changed our room and upgraded but in my opinion we shouldn’t have had to pay for a room with no working toilet where we had to go off premise to use the potty. It was horrendous! I would stay far away from this hotel -

Dirty room with mold

The room was not clean. The toilet was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This is a picture of it after we complained and asked for it to be cleaned again, it was better but still dirty. The shower curtain was moldy. The coffee maker and ice maker did not work. The room itself was not cleaned well at all. The floor was filthy. I would not stay here in the future.
