I’ll never stay here again , rude and I had issue the moment I checked in and it wasn’t addressed and next day I had accident but the gave me a Free Breakfast for the pain and suffering. Not only it’s over $400 a night they just don’t care.

The property was breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I stayed in both oceanfront king rooms with the beach view soak tubs, and each room exceeded my expectations. I ended up extending my stay by an extra day to celebrate my birthday, and I had an amazing time. I plan to visit again soon!

The resort is beautiful, well worth it. The room was nice, and the AC worked! The staff was great! We ate at the sushi and main restaurants, and both were excellent. The pools and bar next to them were great, except the chairs get taken up early, so try reserving before you lounge. I’m not giving it 5 stars only because the beach is covered in seaweed (grass?) which you wouldn’t know until you get there. Obviously not something they can control nor advertise, but it was a disappointment. They could do better with the cups around the pool. They use one-time-use plastic, but could try out a reusable cup? Definitely worth a stay.

Always wanted to stay, but once was enough

Grounds were jungle like and nice to walk around. Overall the place is bit tired looking for $600 per night plus $60 per day resort fee. The bikes were rough, loose fenders, seat wouldn’t stay up. They were junk. The floating ring you lay in the water on was a coated with green algae, the workers were riding around the beach at 6:00AM in 4 wheelers waking up everyone and the PingPong table didn’t even have a real ball. Just a hard plastic one that barely bounced. Not much effort by the resort amenities staff. $25 Pina Coladas was a bit much and many people were disappointed at their prices. The best part was the peace and quiet, the grounds and the spa and spa pool were real nice

Checca is one of our favorite places to stay. The rooms are great and we love the pool area. Service is top notch. My only knock is the food. The tiki bar food is good, the rest of the restaurants are over priced and not very good at all. We eat lunch around the pools and then go off property for dinner. There are plenty of great restaurants around.
