It was a 7 day trip for my family. This was by far our favorite of 3 resorts we stayed at. Mostly because of how comfortable we felt immediately checking in with Carolyn! She is an Awesome representative of the property. Coming back 2 more times, and have already referred friends! Thanks everyone! You are all so lucky to live there. Room was NOTHING like the picture. overpriced!

Did not try the restaurant or bar due to the negative reviews of it from locals so I can’t comment on that. The good- Bed was very comfortable and it had a nice view from the balcony. The pool room/sauna/locker area is well maintained and the front desk has fresh towels for the pool. They will also give you warm cookies anytime you ask. The staff was very friendly. Now the bad - it was about $150 a night for a double room. It was so tiny and the air conditioner was so small it never stopped but never got below 70. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the hall or rooms next door. They allow dogs and there was one across from the room with a super loud bark. A group of golfers stayed near my room and were up super late on a Sunday night even though quiet time is ten pm. Several things were in need of repair in the room, tissue holder broken, toilet paper holder came off the wall, no microwave in the room, no ice bucket. Paint was covered in stains when shined with a blacklight. Bathroom trim was starting to peel. Shower knob was shin high and the shower was tiny with no doors so water went all over the floor if you used it. It took at least five minutes to get hot water. The main lights in the room and bathroom are super bright you almost need sunglasses. The bathroom light shines right on the bed so you’ll blind anyone trying to sleep. No dresser in the room and it had a very strange layout, smaller than a studio apartment. No receipt

Pine Mountain Service went downhill

The A/C was not working, and the outside temp was in the 90's. Could not sleep. The shampoo/conditioner/liquid soap dispensers were broke so I had to physically remove them from the wall to use them. The service in the restaurant was terrible for both my dinner and breakfast. I was ignored by wait staff. My breakfast was not what I ordered and was burnt.

Great stay!

We had THE BEST stay with our dogs in cabin 5! The cabin was spacious, accommodating and so clean. Our ONLY complaint was the corners of the bed frame were very sharp and stuck out. We all skinned our legs at some point! I wish the dog fee wasn’t so much, but we will be back!

We drove 5 hours to Michigan to see a cabin for sale and stayed here. We have three children under the age of 8. The cedar house we stayed in was absolutely tremendous for our family of five! Separate kids and parents bedrooms, a living room, a washer and dryer which came in handy to dry off everyone’s swimsuits ! The pool was very large and our kids had a blast and mom and dad loved the very hot hottub! The location of the property was dreamy… we saw deer right off our balcony and a beaver that would visit in morning and night. We honestly couldn’t have designed a better hotel room if we tried. For a family of five the room or mini apartment as we called it, was phenomenal ! The staff were all so happy and cheery and made you feel happy to be there. Overall it was a fabulous experience and we will definitely be back !
