Lovingly restored to a very good standard, Walnut Cottage has been in the owner’s family for several generations and dating back to the 14th century, is the oldest cottage in Sproughton. Semi-detached and situated in the centre of the village it is full of character, it has a wood burner in the living room and an enclosed suntrap garden where guests can enjoy al fresco dining. There is private parking immediately outside with a gate leading to fully landscaped garden.
Offering easy road access to many historic East Anglian towns and villages, it is conveniently situated for visiting the county towns of Norwich, Ipswich and Colchester, or taking the train for a day out in London. The picturesque villages of Long Melford, Lavenham, Clare and Bildeston are all a short drive away. Also convenient for Constable Country and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Quaint cottage
Lovely quaint cottage with absolutely everything you need...and more. We parked outside the village hall due to difficulty getting in and out of driveway with cars parked opposite. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our time sitting out there. Good location and Morrisons less than 5 mins drive away. The only negative is that it is right on a busy road and the cars drive very fast through the village.
