From the moment you arrive you will be amazed at the beauty and setting of this unique cottage. As it is on the shore of Loch Ness, you can look out for Nessie (the Loch Ness monster) at all times of the day and during the long bright summer evenings. The cottage has a lounge/conservatory from which you can sit and watch the ever-changing loch, sunsets, wildlife and mountains. Two comfortable, well-equipped bedrooms (one twin, one double) also with stunning loch views, ensure you will sleep well in the peace and quiet of the private countryside location.

The well-appointed kitchen allows you to enjoy preparing the rich variety of local produce available at local Farmers Markets and from local producers. Inverness city is only 16 miles away (25 minute drive) and you have ample car parking space at the cottage for any number of vehicles.

The wildlife will also amaze you with dozens of birds visiting the garden bird house, regular sightings of red and sika deer, pine martens, pheasants, osprey, woodpeckers, red squirrels, bats and at night you are guaranteed to hear the occasional owl.

With Freeview TV, home entertainment, board games, CDs and DVDs you are ensured of a fun time inside or out. Fishing is allowed from either of The Cottage's private beaches (there is a shingle and a rock beach), accessible down steps from the garden. Visitors have caught brown trout & salmon. Fort Augustus is 25 minutes away with its stunning locks and restaurants. The nearby village of Foyers (2 miles away) has a post office, general store and cafe.
