Did the job....is that good enough?
The hotel was eh. No receptionist to check in once you arrive - you need to use their landline phone to call someone to come down and give you your key. Additionally, you need to pay the 14CHF as a "city tax". We requested 2 beds and only were given one. The shower had hair on the sides of it, and overflowed as well. Free breakfast was just sliced bread. Room was a bit noisy at night because walls were thin. However, the hotel did its job....I guess. Other than poor amenities nothing technically bad about this hotel. 3 minute walk from Interlaken West. Not lavish at all but will accommodate you, especially if you plan to be out and about most of the day.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Close to the train, close to Migros, clean rooms and very helpful up front with discount passes for the area etc. They have a community room with fridge and coffee. It was nice to eat in the community room and watch the local school kids play at the school next-door, see the mom's out by the park close by and get a feel for the community and area. Really great location and breakfast was decent here too!

Exceptional Hotel!
We were greeted by the Hotel manager Beat at the front desk, very friendly and helpful about our activities. He gave us tips and recommendations. The room was very clean, organized and the bed was very comfortable. Our room location had a nice view, you can see paragliders. Everything is close by, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great with lots of selection. They have a common area if you have your own food to eat and a fridge to store your food. Also, the lady at the front desk was very helpful regarding our train transportation questions. She took the time to check the schedule for us. We love this place would book again here when we come back. Merci!

Location and nice rooms
The rooms were modern, sizable, and clean. Great AC, great views, good beds. Bathrooms were a little small but shower had great water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was served well, hot eggs on request, coffee machine and all your typical European breakfast foods. Location is easy to get to interlaken west train and bus station. Not too far walk from food and shopping but off the beaten path enough to be private. Migros grocery is 2 minutes away too. Great common area and terrace as well! Laundry service out back was small but convenient. Service was largely good, a few small rude encounters but i think that’s mostly just a language and culture difference. Housekeepers were AMAZING, did a great job and were kind. The man guy for the breakfast was good too. Overall service was good enough, could maybe polish their politeness in English some but even the one or two people we had a slight issue with it wasn’t consistent so I think it was situational. The lady at the checkout sincerely cared about if we had a good time and asked what we liked, etc. Overall we stayed over a week and I would stay there again.
