Other than the receptionist it was run down, pool cold, items missing at. Breakfast, no biscuit in the room, carpet has holes in, walls have holes in, heating set to 90c so you have to sleep with the veils window open in December. Poor.

Toilets in the breakfast area were not usable they should of been closed until someone could clean them .I know that staff were very busy as it was newyears morning breakfast but should definately have been closed to puplic ..

There was an error (made by Hotels.com according to the hotel) regarding the booking; we booked a family room but there were none available. However, the hotel put camp beds in a large double room for us. The room was a bit run down with damage over the shower and marks on the walls/ceiling (dried food?) There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room but plenty of towels. We used the pool twice but on the second day, after our swim, we discovered all the showers were out of use so had to take two young children back to our room to shower. Food was nice-breakfast had many options. There was a leak in our bathroom on the second day. This was cleaned up quickly but no apology. Overall, hotel was quite tired and we were not overly impressed. Difficult to raise concern regarding booking with Hotels.com regarding the issue with the family room (as stated hotel claimed this was an error with the third party we booked through).

Upon arrival was informed that I’d booked a classic room, when in fact I’d booked a family room. The lady on reception advised there was no family rooms available and offered a bigger room to put a cot or put you up bed in it. As I have a 6ft 17 year old, that wasn’t going to work. She then offered a second room free of charge. Beds uncomfortable, hot tap in bathroom sink came away in our hand when we tried to turn it on. Breakfast was limited and healthy options chargeable. Not what I was expecting of a four star hotel? Which is in desperate need of a refurb. Won’t be returning, very disappointing!

Check-in: Very busy at Reception at about 3.30pm but smooth check in with polite & friendly staff Room:Very comfortable & clean (except for a few cobwebs) No mini fridge but had extra pilows & a fan. Room was quiet & had a great nights sleep Breakfast: Hot food selection and quality was great, continental quite limited but good quality. Unfortunately the coffee machine was temperamental and didn't really work, we had to use takeaway style paper cups due to there being a cup shortage! Staff were particularly helpful & friendly. Only recommendation would be to have a sign saying 'Seat yourself' as quite a few people were waiting to be seated. Overall a good quality hotel at a reasonable price.

I could tell the bed sheets wasn’t changed as there was hair and sit down patch but most hotels do this so I give up on that one, but everything else was so peaceful simple and nice for the value honestly I’d rebook.

The room was very hot. The shower sprayed water all over the floor when switched on. Breakfast service is awful. The young staff stand behind the bar chatting. Coffee machine not working, no greeting, tables not cleared. I have stayed at this hotel lots of times and it has seriously declined.
