Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was below expectations. The check-in process felt unwelcoming — the gentleman at reception and the lady who asked me to sign on the tablet did not explain anything about the hotel, such as Wi-Fi details, floor layout, or general amenities. Instead, I was only asked why I hadn’t chosen breakfast, which came across as pushy rather than helpful. Better training is definitely needed, as guests expect clear information first before being sold add-ons. The room itself was also disappointing. The air conditioning was weak, making the stay uncomfortable, and the cleanliness was not up to standard — certainly not pristine. Overall, I would give this hotel 2 star for service. In reality, it feels more like a 3 star property rather than the standard it aims to project.

Very nice hotel and staff, not great experience

This is a pretty nice hotel and staff were very kind. I had an upgraded room on the lounge floor, so that might have shaped my experience. They provided a very thorough orientation to the hotel and welcoming gift (plate of fruit). The views and breakfast were also some of the best I have had at a hotel. So, why am I giving three stars? Well, the first morning at the hotel, I woke up and noticed a huge yellow stain on the top of the duvet (the part that would be right by or on your face when you sleep). I should have inspected the room more thoroughly but I was dealing with a stomach bug when I arrived, so I had other things on my mind. And, I used to just use the sheet underneath and never use the duvet in hotels, but many hotels in Southeast Asia do not provide a sheet (the duvet is all you have to cover yourself). I immediately notified the staff about the stain and they had the duvet replaced quickly. But, they did not offer any compensation (which I think should have been given). Aside from a bug infestation, sleeping in what is likely someone else's bodily fluids on your face is undoubtedly one of the worst things that can happen at a hotel--let alone a 5 star. Everything else was great.

We had a really great experience for two nights. The Staff is super professional and supportive. The room was clean and eco friendly. The Swimming pool has a beautiful view. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with a big variety of food and drink. 5 stars.

We stayed only 1 night when at Hue and it has been the best hotel so far. The main issue with hotels in VN is the AC. We stayed in the 17th floor and had 2 connected rooms. Everything was great. Bed spacious and very comfortable, working AC that actually turn the room cold, spacious bathroom. Also the great breakfast was a plus. Different western and VN food options. Highly recommended!
