The staff was so friendly and informative. The vibe was very chill, other guests were so friendly. It's a short walk to the bathhouses. My pup was relaxed and happy. I would recommend this place, thanks Happy Hollow!

This was the cutest place. Completely turned out with great special touches from simple things like an adorable ceramic bathtub to hold the toiletries to a fully functional kitchenette with real glassware, silverware and ceramic mugs. More like an airbnb than a sterile hotel. helpful guides to the area. You can tell that the owners and staff have a real pride in ownership. LOVED OUR STAY! p.s. in an area where parking is challenging, you can leave your car here and walk the 1/2 block to downtown and 95% of the sights in this charming and historic town. I will definitely recommend the Happy Hallow to others.

This was my second stay at The Happy Hollow, and unfortunately, a few things didn’t quite meet the high standard set during my previous visit. First, an issue outside the hotel’s control: our neighbors returned late from their night out and continued socializing loudly outside the rooms. Although they quieted down when asked, the noise level rose again and the gathering lasted until about 12:15am. Second, the room cleanliness was below expectations. While I understand the presence of ladybugs due to the building’s location, finding both live and dead ones was less than ideal. More concerning were the previous guest’s leftovers in the fridge and mold growing in the shower. A more thorough cleaning between guests would greatly improve the experience.

The location and service were great and the bed was clean and comfortable. However, the kitchen area got wet during a storm when water came through the window casing and left plaster hanging down from the ceiling.
