I spent 3 days at this hotel and it was the best stay I have had in a while. Everything about it was awesome from the check in to the ladies cleaning the property.

Horrendous.

My partner and I booked to stay here for one night, excited about a cute place on the lake — but the reality was awful. When we arrived at “suite” 7, we were hit with a strong smell of stale marijuana that made us feel sick. We opened both doors to air it out, but no alternative room was offered. One of the lights didn’t work, and the blind facing the parking area had large gaps, offering no privacy, so we hung towels over it. The rear sliding door barely locked and felt unsafe. It was obvious the room hadn’t been cleaned properly: an open shampoo bottle in the shower, food left on the stove, sticky bedside tables, and almost no toilet paper. The upstairs guests’ every movement and drawer opening could be heard through the ceiling. There were also questionable stains on the bed sheets. The place was so dirty we couldn’t stay and ended up booking another hotel that night. The “suite” looked nothing like the photos when we booked. Overall, a huge disappointment — dirty, noisy, poorly maintained, and misrepresented. Absolutely would not recommend this place; save your money and stay elsewhere. Complaint made to hotels.com who we booked through.

Just meh but with a great view

The check-in/out process was very easy. The view of the lake was splendid and it was quiet the night we were there and the beds were comfortable. It was a little unsettling that we walked into our room as a really late check-in (11:00pm) to find the balcony door wide open. We would have preferred a closed door, especially that time of night. There were carpet stains in multiple places on the floor and a 4-6in section of the wallpaper border in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, so this definitely detracted from an overall clean feeling. Additionally, the cover for hotel sign by the road was completely missing (it was only the white lights showing at the roadway) so we had a hard time finding the building. Overall, I am not sure I would repeat my stay here, despite the great view.

Don't lean on the railing.

Definitely not worth what they charged for the night. The view of the lake was nice but the balcony was filthy. You couldn't lean on the rail for all of the cigarette ashes and spots where it appears cigarettes were put out on it. The outside table and chairs were filthy as well, There was a dirty spoon left in the sink and I felt like I had to wash the dishes before using them. Even some of the disposable cups were restacked without the outer wrapping on them. In addition I feel for $170 I shouldn't have to take my own trash to the dumpster when leaving.

Updated beautifully!! Gorgeous property. Beds are so comfy. We fished most of our time from the dock. Sons Birthday tomorrow and he has an outpatient procedure at 8am Friday. Hes 28 and he said this is now our spot!!
