Hosts communication was good.We were informed at time of booking that lake had been drawn down for maintenance & no guarantee it would be back to normal by time of our stay. However, we didn't realize that would mean the lake would be 100% unusable.

We enjoyed our stay with hopes of relaxing as a family on the lake with a few trips into Hot Springs for fun activities. We loved how the home had everything we needed down to the smallest detail. We even enjoyed the glimpses of the pair of bald eagles hunting over the lake. We had hopes of kayaking - we wished the listing would have reflected the drawn down lake levels or more effort made to reach us regarding that information. Once we knew it was too late to make changes to the reservation it would have been nice to offer a discounted rate. That’s why we are leaving 4 stars in those areas. We appreciate the immediate response to messages during our stay and still enjoyed the views to an extent. And the home was cozy. Thank you for your hospitality!

I spent 3 weeks in this lovely home. Every comfort was accounted for and the home was equipped with anything we could have needed. The hosts were very helpful and promptly answered any questions I had. The only disappointment was that Lake Balboa was drained in preparation for dredging. The hosts let me know this ahead of time, so I knew I wouldn't have my hoped for lake view! BUT, the home and it's location left me all ready to plan my next stay in Hot Springs Villlage on a full Lake Balboa!!

We enjoyed our time at this house. It was furnished with anything you may need. The host payed attention to every detail. Upon arriving we found snacks and beverages.
