Room was very clean, though it is very basic and plain, but for the traveler on a budget, with a fur buddy, it is just fine since all of my activities are outdoors. The breakfast in the morning is just great, and no parking issues.

I picked Red Roof Inn in Hot Springs, AR bc of the lowest price in the area on a wknd & its location + we' ll be staying just for 1 night to shower & sleep then leave early the next morning so this work for us. It's a run down hotel that needs a complete renovation IMO. However our room was clean but you can see it's old. 1 great thing for our stay is that I asked to get a room near the lobby bc I traveled w/ my daughter & niece so I didn't want the original room that was assigned to us in the back of the hotel. Also brkfst is ok but not excellent granted they did mention it's a Continental Brkfst so don't expect eggs & sausages but they did have boiled eggs.
