Waterfront Vacation Paradise!!! This is it, the place you've been looking for. A million dollar view of the main channel of Lake Barkley. The only thing better is relaxing on the patios watching the beautiful sunsets. You are in the middle of everything outdoors. Go out and do it all: boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming, etc or just sit back and relax and watch from the best place on the lake.

The recently remodeled (2012) waterfront house sits in a quite neighborhood on a bluff overlooking the east shores of Land Between the Lakes. The yard has shade trees , flowers, birdhouses, flagpole, and swing. Patios with 2 tables/chairs, swing, charcoal grill, gas grill and fire pit. Concrete driveway with parking for 2 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. Carport for car/boat or use as covered porch. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full size), Living room with electric log fire place, love seat makes a twin bed, couch makes a full bed, fully equipped kitchen and 1 1/2 bathroom with everything you need. Utility room has washer, dryer, and extra fridge.

    The house was clean, bug free, and well equipped. The outdoor patio could use improvement; lounge chairs would have been nice. Our host Vicki warned me about the long winding roads, and she was right. Our best dining experience was at the Harper House. We also rented a Pontoon boat from Moon River Marina and enjoyed a day on the lake.

    Very much enjoyed our stay. Vicki is a fantastic host and was very informative about things do and see. Also the home is very well stocked. We didnt have the best weather, but the home has great views over the lake from inside. This was our first trip to the area but a return trip is likely in the future.

    Relaxing gettaway

    A quiet relaxing place to stay with no frills or luxuries. A little too far off the beaten path. Second bedroom was very small for the other couple. However the lake views were awesome. Our time on the patio were very valuable. I would recommend this property to a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

    Beautiful view on the lake.

    We could have sat on the back porch overlooking the lake forever. So serene. We enjoyed all the little critters so much. We saw a rabbit, a chipmunk, a squirrel, a lizard, humming birds, and fireflies. On the drive in we saw lots of deer and later on a wild turkey! It was wonderful. The cabin felt so homey and had everything we could possibly need. Vicki was so sweet to chat with and responded quickly to every question we had. We would definitely stay here again.

    wonderful cabin

    From early morning sitting on the porch watching the birds, and the boats go by, to the night enjoying the sunset there is no better place than this cabin on Lake Barkley. Cabin was well stocked with essentials and very clean. And very quiet. Vicky was helpful and easy to contact. Great place for wonderful get away.
