Sadly a disappointment
It's hard to give negative feedback and is a shame we have to, we was looking forward to a lovely valentines few days away, there was no friendly greet at all, we was early, was told we had to. Wait 2 hours which is fair enough but it was the attitude and no explanation why, apparently was coach loads prior. The room. Was small, the whole of the hotel was not clean. Is such a lovely building with great potential. We was so looking forward to a swim and spa. It was not nice having to walk in the gym and the males have to walk back through the gym to go to the pool. And spa, only needs some partitioning that would sort that. The changing rooms were not clean, the showers were not warm at all. In the males the windows were open in the showers so was cold on top of already cold temperature shower. We stayed 4 nights, but went swim and spa once, we didn't want to go again we was so put off. Nothing is clean or checked. We found the sauna door wide open before going in there. It was a disappointment overall. The staff don't seem to know what their doing it's managed poorly. The bfast was nice but the bacon was like it was day before left overs heated up, hard to eat...
