This luxury end-unit townhome is located in the Sea Star Village community of Surf City, NC on beautiful Topsail Island. The private community features a community pool that is open for guest use during the summer months and is only steps to the ocean for an easy walk to the beach!

As you approach Anchored Inn, there is ample parking for 2 to 3 cars in a covered carport. The carport provides a wet weather entry for guests as well as an enclosed hot and cold outside shower to rinse that beautiful sand off after a day at the beach. This property offers keyless access entry to simplify your check-in process. Upon entering the unit, you are immediately greeted by a fully tiled entry with plenty of space to store all that beach gear waiting for your next adventure.

Up the stairs to the first living level of this reverse floor plan property, you will find the full-size laundry amenities neatly tucked away in the laundry closet. This level also features three of the four bedrooms this property has to offer. The first bedroom is 1 of the 2 master bedrooms complete with a large comfortable king bed, his & her closets, flat screen television, and even an ocean-side private deck to spend some time watching the waves crash with your sweetie. This bedroom also features a wonderful luxury bath complete with a luxurious full-tile shower. The 2nd bedroom on this level features a queen-sized bed along with a flat-screen television all tastefully decorated with a coastal theme. The 3rd bedroom on this level is great for the kids with its television along with a twin and double bed. The shared bath, with a tub, is located at the end of the hall so you can clean up before going out for a night on the town.

Head on up the stairs to the top level of the home which is sure to please you and your family. Large picture windows and high ceilings add an open and airy feeling to the room, not to mention the views of the Atlantic as a backdrop. This level also has a deck for family gatherings to enjoy the sea breeze. The living area of the home offers a large flat-panel television, a DVD player, and wireless internet. Enjoy ample seating with a loveseat, sofa, and a recliner-type chair.

The gourmet-style kitchen features granite countertops complete with a work island/bar and stainless steel appliances. The other smaller modern kitchen appliances, such as a coffee maker and toaster, are also readily available. This level also offers a half bath for convenience during family time. At the poolside of this level, you will find the 2nd master suite complete with queen sized bed, his and her closets, a private bath with tiled shower, and flat panel television all adorned with a tasteful shell theme. There is also a private balcony for this bedroom overlooking the beautiful pool! Great family unit.

This was a excellent townhouse for our family. Plenty of room. Not ocean front but had a great view from living room deck. Just a short walk to beach area. My only thing would be the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom.

Great beach week

Amazing!

My family and I had the best trip. The location was great. The house was gorgeous. Very short walk to the ocean. Restaurants and bars very close. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Hopefully we can book this property again next year.

Family friendly and close to the beach!!

This home has a great floor plan with lots of space for the family to gather in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and nicely updated. The beach is just a few steps away which is great for families with kids. The only downside to this property is that the road traffic can be pretty loud, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The master bathroom showers also need to be thoroughly cleaned as there is a bit of mold and mildew. Overall, a very nice property!

Close to the beach, closer to the street

Nice location walking distance to the beach, but this townhouse 202 was the first one off the road and there is a lot of traffic. Also right across from a bar so sleeping on Friday/Sat. nights began after the noise quit. Not something the rental agency can control it was just the townhouse location on the end of the row. The townhouse was very nice for the most part. The bed in our room was not a queen size like advertized, which wouldn't have been a problem except the sheets we got were queen so they were too big. We paid for the linens package so I called to let them know, (expecting the correct size to be delivered), he said "well, at least they aren't too small". The mattress was comfortable, once you tucked and retucked the over sized sheet. The a/c worked good for the most part, it was 85 degrees most days. But in the evening when you used the stove or oven for dinner on the 3rd floor, it didn't keep up at all so we waited as late as we could to cook, so it would be cooler outside. And ate lunch meat sandwiches and cold things for lunch. The stove had a knob missing for the burner. I called and he said "do you need it?" I said well not if we play switch the knob to the burner then back again. He said "ok well, we'll see if we can get someone to look at it". No one ever came. I have a feeling that knob will be missing quite awhile. Probably not high on the problem list but irritating when tring to cook and turn on the burners. The check in was very confusing, the office was closed. It said our booklet would be at the office in an outside box, we found that entered the password and it opened - no book. The booklet was in the townhouse on the counter already but it's a booklet for all the rentals and was very confusing to figure out what applied to the one you were in. It definately could be simplified. Over all we had a good vacation. I would just not stay in this townhouse near the street again. It's important to look at the surroundings not just the interior when booking next time. I don't know if all rental agents are like this office where they close for the weekend when you check in but this was our first time booking this way. Probably will think of another option next time, but it was nice having the family all in the same house instead of separate hotel rooms.
