Hotel clerk refused to check me in despite having pre-paid in full. Most disreputable and disrespectful hotel experience in a lifetime of travel. Paid Expedia in full with AMEX. But at check-in, Palmera night clerk refused my AMEX for incidental charges claiming their AMEX terminal "was down". AMEX told me their were no issues. I offered cash to cover incidentals but he refused. Late at night, I was forced to search for another room which cost me 3x the rate of this one. Expedia refused to correct this, only giving me a partial refund. Stay away from Palmera and Expedia & Hotels dot com.,

The room was very clean and spacious! The walls are thin. You can hear doors shutting and people talking in the hallways, but at night it was quiet so that wasn’t a problem. We only stayed for one night and did not eat breakfast so I can’t review that part, but I would stay here again.

Wonderfully surprised for our first HH visit. Our accommodations were beyond awesome, King apartment with a “loft” and at an amazing over night “rate” as well. Location and breakfast were great, plans to stay for a week at Palmer’s Inn & Resort in the Spring!

The only things that weren’t to my liking is that I found mold around the shower handle on our last morning. Also, the beds weren’t comfortable at all. I was sssooo happy to get back to my bed. My hips were achy bc the bed had no cushion .

The service was good. the room was quiet and clean. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable since I sleep on a soft mattress at home. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door which did not close tightly; thus, noise and light would be emitted. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and pans, etc.
