In need of pest control...

Check-in was very easy (lockbox) and all the information provided by the owner was accurate. The name of the property is a bit misleading, because the location was a lot less central than I expected (e.g. I didn't see any cafés, restaurants, shops, etc. anywhere nearby, it was a very residential area). Fine, I can deal with that, and when we opened the door to the apartment, we were surprised about how spacious it was and it is also nicely furnished. HOWEVER, immediately after setting down our luggage, we see a huge cockroach sitting on the kitchen counter (in warmer climates like Crete, they're pretty 'massive'...). We tried to swat it, but it scurried away behind the microwave, i.e. no chance of getting to it...and anyway, there is never only just ONE cockroach... Sorry, maybe I'm spoiled, but I wouldn't have been able to sleep knowing there are (huge) roaches creeping around as soon as I turn off the lights, so we decided instead to check into an airport hotel that I had spent a night at the previous week... Another minus point as a non-smoker, the apartment had the stale smell of smoke (which is no biggie in the grand scheme of things, it was the roach that made us decide to leave). So I unfortunately cannot really recommend this place, unless they invest in pest control...

Non lontano dal Porto, è un appartamento molto comodo e luminoso, consigliato, giusto necessiterebbe di qualche informazione per essere raggiunto in quanto si tratta di via lunga e separata. Ottima la modalità di check in
