We were instantly upgraded due to a leak caused by storm Amy in our room. The staff were so good and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was wonderful, we had the full Scottish breakfast and enjoyed a lovely meal and cocktails in one of two bars. Can’t fault this place! I’d go back for sure!

It’s a charming older hotel with a lot of character. Rooms are quiet, clean & tidy. Stayed for a week & was extremely comfortable. The restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner was high quality & value with a variety of choices. Lovely hotel

Friendly staff and lovely clean fresh room. We didn’t eat there but the food looked good. Only issue was check in and out. Had to ring the reception bell multiple times then go to bar and ask for help. If you fix this issue it will be a perfect place to stay. Would definitely go back
