room was recently remodeled,looked good and clean. did not upgrade shower faucet, condition was poor. Tub was very slippery with no mat. I consider this dangerous. Was overall good room for the price.

After check in we went to assigned room (110) and the previous guest smoke in the room. 2 employees came to our rescue, try to clean the room, but the cigarette smell was too strong. We got a different room (131). Everything was fine until we check out this morning. Front desk Ms Lynn was absolutely unkind. I walked in with a small cooler and request ice, since the ice machine isn't working. She offer me a cup!!! of ice, or suggest to go somewhere else and buy a bag. That small cooler is to keep cool our dog food. She didnt even ask or tried at least to be empathetic. A small bag of ice would have been enough. Thank God for the housekeeping lady who helped us. Ms Lynn check us out, walked away from the front desk and left. No receipt. Customer service ZERO. Hospitality at it worse. Then, when i checked my credit card i have 3 charges from the hotel. AMAZING! Rooms in beautiful condition and clean as a whistle. Front Desk Clerk was so nice and helpful and location to walk downtown is fantastic. Will definitely be staying there again.

The staff was so helpful with our large group including my wheelchair-bound child. They made sure we had parking available to get him in and out of the car. The room was plenty big enough for all 6 of us and clean. Location of the hotel was so convenient for all of us to get around Helen without having to use the car at all. Breakfast options at the hotel are the main part of any of my negative review. But Betty’s is next door and has great options.

Don't like new parking policy.

We had a nice stay here however we did not like getting charged $5 a day for parking. The point of staying at a hotel in the downtown area is so you don't have to pay for parking. I could have reserved a room at a cheaper hotel on the other side of town and paid for parking on my own.
