Peace in the Woods - Free Spring Night

The name says it all: "Peace in the Woods"! This cabin is secluded and located at the end of Red Fox Lane, bordering the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest.

This charming cabin is tastefully appointed and is appreciated for its beauty, comfort and privacy. There are large decks in front and back, both partially covered, that allow you to bask in the North Georgia mountain sunshine or relax in the cool shade – when you’re not unwinding in the warm waters of the hot tub!

Both bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the living room and each has a king bed, television and private bath. Enjoy the cozy living room in front of the wood burning stone fireplace while watching your favorite movie. The fully equipped kitchen will make you feel right at home when preparing snacks and meals. You and your loved ones will also enjoy grilling out on the back deck and sitting around the new outdoor fire pit. A fence was recently installed at Peace in the Woods, so you can let the dogs play outside!

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

We loved this cabin! The yard was big enough for our dogs. It was very quiet as we were in the last cabin up the driveway. My dad saw a bear about 2:00 in the morning, so beware they are out there. The only thing I can say negative is the road getting to the cabin had a lot of ruts in it, the drive was pretty rough. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

Everything about this was excellent. The cabin was in a perfect place and there was a fenced yard for our dog. The screened in porch was great for drinking coffee in the mornings. Everything from the check in (which was actually an hour early) to the checkout was perfect. Will definitely be staying there again!!

Beautiful cabin stay!

This cabin was peaceful and quiet. It was well stocked and very clean. Good communication with property managers. (Especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Do NOT do that. lol) My only complaint is I didn’t get to meet any bears. Everything else was great!

Relaxing weekend getaway

The cabin was perfect for a quiet, low key trip. We originally had daily activities planned however, all the rain canceled those plans. This gave us full opportunity to enjoy the screened in porch and just listen to the rain fall between the wooded and secluded scenery. We used the hot tub at least twice a day. The fenced in yard was perfect for our boxer to run and play.

Peace in the Woods was everything it’s name stated.

We were in town for a conference at Unicoi and the cabin was just 5 short minutes away and allowed for us to have our fur child. Beds were comfy, house was very clean, management very helpful. We definitely will use Georgia Mountain Rentals again!

Spring Break Getaway

The cabin was great! Clean and plenty of room for the four of us. Helen and Unicoi are literally minutes away. It definitely lives up to its name, Peace in the Woods. Will certainly stay here again next time we're up this way. Especially enjoyed the ease of the fenced in yard for our two pups. That's what sold us on this cabin. Thanks for having us. See you again!

70th Birthday Bash

Peace in the Woods is aptly named. It sits at the end of the road, so there is no traffic around. The screened porch is a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a toddy in the evening. Our canine companions loved the secure fenced yard. Should we return to Helen, GA, we will again look for Peace in the Woods.

The location was perfect. Our driveway circled the cabin. King beds were comfy. We had firewood delivered and had the best fires in the evening. We saw 2 deer in our yard. We grilled delicious steaks. It was such a cozy 4 days for us. Peace in the Woods is appropriately named. Hope we can stay there next year when we come for the turkey call makers show
