We arrived before check-in from the US, and the team did a great job arranging an early check-in for us. The bed was very comfortable, the room was impeccable, and the hotel was very quiet. Unfortunately, my husband broke his wrist during our stay while hiking. Not only was the German healthcare system excellent, but the staff did a great job accommodating our extra night’s stay.

This is our go-to hotel when we visit Heidelberg. It’s clean, conveniently located, has nice amenities, and is priced right. Tge rooms are spacious enough for European standards and offers all the convenience of a short stay.

The hotel room was nice and so were the staff, but beware the rooftop bar on Friday and Saturday nights. It is more like a nightclub with booming bass that makes everything shake, and drunk people singing loudly. At least the hotel staff helped get the music turned off around midnight, but we would not have booked a room with small children if we'd known it was like this.

Good comfortable place to stay in terms of location. Lavish breakfast spread. Comfortable parking. A bit tricky.. enter left just before the hotel entrance( kind of hidden) you may have to use the elevator to go to -2 but make sure you check in first as you need the access card to enter the parking. We choose castle view room . But was ok .
