Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1- November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests. Your view is beach-side and within a short walk you are able to enjoy the sand and the water.

The lady at the rental agency was very rude when we picked up our welcome package another employee apologized but after driving fourteen hours the apology didn't matter much. The unit itself was very dirty both bathroom toilets did not look clean, the bed linens for the fold-out couch looked very worn, the pillows had no pillowcases I don't think I have ever seen pillows so flat, the two dining room chairs had sand in them, several of the dishes were dirty in the cabinets, the furniture was dusty, the tv remote was missing batteries, the tv guide was marked all over and torn, the dryer was so stuffed with lint it was awful to clean out and the dryer still didn't dry very well about two hours a load, you could not use either closet both were full of very used beach toys. I have stayed in a lot of condos at Orange Beach by far this was the absolute worst.
