Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.

Staff was great. Had issue with barking dog outside our room and it was handled promptly and well. Room v clean but for the px expected it to be less rustic and a bit more updated. Property is quaint but starting to age. Grounds nice for walking; lobby was cozy and welcoming. We had an ocean view from our balcony, along with a beautiful view of the grounds. The fire place in the room was amazing to snuggle up by at night. The beds were comfy. Lovely Mendocino retreat

This is a beautiful property. The grounds include gardens and also a number of animals. There are donkeys, llamas, and horses. They are dog friendly here. The rooms are charming, mission style cabin feeling. There is an Nespresso machine in your room, which is wonderful!

The wood burning fireplace is a very nice touch. Room was clean and laid out nicely. To top it off there's a nice deck with an ocean view for watching sunrises and sunsets. We will be back.
