We had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. The property was kept in very clean condition, and we appreciated the included breakfast, which was a nice start to each day. That said, the location was a bit inconvenient — it’s about a 22-minute walk from the station, and the last bus up stops at 7:00 pm, which made getting back later in the evening difficult. We also noticed that the soundproofing could be improved, as we could often hear footsteps from the room above us. If you don’t mind the walk or plan your evenings accordingly, it’s a great place to stay with wonderful staff and very good cleanliness.

The bedroom and the hotel was so clean and fresh. The view of the Eiger from our bedroom was amazing and I never tired of seeing it. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. The hotel had a calm feel. Located slightly outside the town meant that it was a peaceful setting while still being close enough to facilities. I would certainty book to stay at Grindellodge again in I was holidaying in the area.

Our stay at Grindellodge was simply wonderful! The location is perfect – just a short walk from anywhere, yet tucked away in a peaceful area with breathtaking views of the Eiger. とても気持ちよの良いホテルでした。スタッフの方はとても親切で、寄り添ってくれました。語学に不安があったのですが、ちょうどタイミングよくレストランで働く日本人スタッフの方がいらっしゃり、明日早く出かけたいこと、その場合は朝食をテイクアウトできるように用意してもらえることを間に入って調整していただきました。 あと、近くにバス停があってそこからグリンデルワルトターミナル駅まで17分で行けるので、ユングラウエリアに向かうにもとても便利。 部屋からの景色も素晴らしく、もう一度利用したいくらいです。
