Good stopover on border of Scotland.
Comfortable ensuite room. Very clean. and bright and airy.Good bed. Good breakfast with a variety of cereals and cooked breakfast to order. Convenient parking . Grand old building.

Value for Money
For the cost, it is value for money. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was a little confusing with most things needing to be asked for (we understand the reasons, to save on wastage, but that wasn't made clear on the menu). The portions for breakfast were huge and it was good quality food. We thought the place could do with some TLC and a good dust in higher places, but overall a good stop over and worth the money we paid.
