not to par of lasts stay. no complimentary proessco or macarons offered this time like i was 2 years ago.. no pre-arrival email that they said i would get 72 hrs before arrival. no idea why my roll was ridiculously far away. last time i came i didn’t have to surrender my ID and sign a contract before biking around the property. breakfast was fanatic however. stain on the carpet upon entering room. i also swore they used to offer robes but my memory could be wrong. still great, but questioning some interactions with staff and not quite as amazing as it was in Aug 2023

We really enjoyed the stay at Hotel Hartness. Arrived in evening after hike at Caesar’s Head. Very refreshing shower and pool after hike. 20 minute drive to downtown Greenville to walk around! Breakfast included was delicious! Tea Forte teas were a special treat. Morning bike ride on complimentary bikes and wake up swim!! Very refreshing!

Positive experience at Hartness. Clean, comfortable. Feels quite private, nice fitness center and pool, relaxing outdoor spaces, decent breakfast, excellent service. Surprisingly good food at the bar. Would like to specially recognize the breakfast staff, they are very attentive and seem to enjoy what they do.

Another positive experience at Hartness

This property has become my favorite place to stay in Greenville. You have to drive a little to get to attractions and downtown but service and comfort make up for it. Beds are very comfortable, linens are crisp. The artwork around the hotel common areas is lovely and offers another unique perk. Staff is very professional in all areas and give attention to detail. I appreciate the bar having several non alcoholic cocktails and beers as well as some delicious bites. Highly recommend this property.

The resort is really beautiful, with an excellent restaurant, bar, pool and gym. 20 drive to Downtown Greenville. The staff is exceptional. Breakfast could have been a bit better.

Great place. Staff was very friendly. Only minor criticisms - could use a little more varied menu at Patterson and Captain and maybe a little more variety in the breakfast from day to day. However , the peach and burrata appetizer was a killer ( ordered with bread service from Patterson - should have bread service on the Captain menu )
