We felt at home as soon as entered the property. Lovely cottage, very clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. The only negatives would be not enough kindling for the fire and also the traffic noise on Monday morning was quite loud but apart from that would highly recommend it.

I'm glad you were comfortable in the cottage. It must have been an unusually busy morning in Greenock if the traffic was loud. It's usually pretty quiet. Thanks for recommending us.

Greenock is such a cute little village and the Old Telegraph is full of character. An open fireplace option on a cold winter’s night and the most comfy bed ever were perfection! And being 250m from Murray St Vineyards made for a gorgeous afternoon. The perfect launching pad for a great Barossa trip. Would thoroughly recommend!

It sounds like you took full advantage of the cottage. There are five cellar doors within close proximity to the cottage and most also offer food platters so Greenock is a great place to base yourself. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for staying with us. Yes, that air conditioner is a bit dated, but there is another much newer one in the main lounge room, and of course, the wood fire for heating. Good to hear you were warm and comfortable.

It's a pity you did not read your booking confirmation when you received it as that would have alerted you immediately that you had chosen the wrong date for your stay and avoided you turning up on the wrong day and finding the cottage booked by other guests. Your review rating, I believe, is based on trying to place blame elsewhere than on yourself. It can't be based on much else because your did not actually stay at the cottage. I hope you get to stay in the Barossa some time; it is a beautiful part of the world.

Overall a great stay over, the yard was great for the dog and enough room for 4 people. More breakfast would of been ideal as the bacon and eggs dodnt cater for 4 adults

Cosy historic cottage in the Barossa

Pros: As above. The breakfast was very tasty with local bacon and orange juice included.
Cons: We wished we had booked to stay longer.
We found this cosy historic cottage delightful. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was great having a fireplace and a spa bath. The beds were warm and comfortable on a frosty night

Beautifully maintained little cottage

Pros: Our host was prompt in her email correspondence and all information given was accurate. We particularly enjoyed the rear garden and proximity to cafe
Cons: Perhaps soap in both bathroom and kitchen?
Location: Very handy for all Barossa attractions and plenty of shopping available in Nuriootpa
Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this little cottage in the charming Barossa township of Greenwich
