Sophia was incredibly hospitable. My husband and I haven’t stayed at a B&B and were a bit hesitant “staying in someone’s house” yet we came and went as we pleased, we never felt like we couldn’t do what we wanted and there was always a glass of wine on offer. Sophia’s local knowledge was tremendous and made eating and wineries very enjoyable. Every recommendation was top knotch. We’d stay here every time we visit the Barossa from now on.

Go elsewhere

Unattended on arrival and following returned delayed unanswered mobile call, let ourselves into house from key under the cushion. The small bedroom with handbasin and authentic “wash closet” did have a garden view that didn’t quite hide the main road. Confronting the senses further was the rattling of windows as the trucks went by. We packed up and left. This is not the place to stay if you are looking for a nice place to stay. Indeed the back of the property looks like a backpackers - which may be a better category for this class of accommodation. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Thank you for your comment. To be fare, 1- you were over 2 hours late for your booked in checking in time on your reservation, I'm sorry we did not meet you when you arrived but we had a commitment. 2- I'm sorry my sons trampoline and the country side offensive you. 3- it is harvest time here in the Barossa and everyone is frantically on the move. Trucks are everywhere at the moment but it's the season and out of anyones control. It's vintage time, and all other guest Love to see and get involved with the season.

Centrally located in the Barossa

Pros: Location, cosiness and welcoming.
Cons: The washbasin is a bit pokey.
Location: Centrally located to a host of Barossa wineries and facilities.
We were met by the very warm and friendly hostess and made very welcome. We were only there one night. The room was quiet and cosy and the breakfast the next morning was great.
