Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! My experience at the hotel was truly wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The manager Ms. Walker in particular went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and having the best possible stay. I also want to highlight a gentleman named Tevin, he was exceptional! His service was top-notch and truly added to the overall experience. I had a beautiful time and will definitely return with my family. I really appreciated how attentive the team was to every detail, making sure all guests were happy and satisfied. It’s rare to find such genuine care in hospitality these days.

Girls week get away

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at this breathtaking brand new resort for five unforgettable nights and six days. Having just opened last fall, everything felt fresh, new and wonderfully modern . We loved that the resort wasn’t overcrowded. It was extremely peaceful. Being two women traveling, we always felt 100% safe. The Rastafarian Safari was the best excursion we’ve done to date. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see the Jamaican landscape and learn of Jamaican culture. Richie was our awesome guide through the countryside. We had so much fun driving the Polaris and seeing the sights up close. Richie is a local and answered every crazy question we threw at him. He made the tour fun and exciting. If you want the best, ask for Richie! Our driver Rayon, from Aloha Jamaica Tours, was most friendly, fair priced, knowledgeable and kind. He is the only one we will use when we come back to Jamaica! The dining experience was beyond our expectation. Whether it was gourmet meals, burgers, late night snacks or room service, every dish was delightful. Be prepared to gain weight as the desserts are out of this world and it’s so hard to choose just one!! What really set this resort apart was the phenomenal customer service. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make sure we felt pampered and didn’t want for anything. The property is beautiful and well designed. We enjoyed our meals and the hotel amenities. The bellmen/bag guys, lifeguards, housekeeper we're welcoming. Some of the staff were unkind, lack professionalism and poor customer service especially the servers at the coffee/dessert bar and the restaurant located by the pool on the beach (unable recall the name of this restaurant; however, i'm not referring to the buffer restaurant). Our check-in process took almost three hours until a manager intervened and got things sorted. Our shower was unclean and had a bad odor. While, I live overseas, i'm also from Jamaica and the service recieved from my own was unacceptable especially at a 5 star resort.

Hotel was very modern and newly built. Very clean and great facilities. We stayed in a suite swim up room. The room had 2 double beds and bathroom all in the same space/room. Swim up pool was great. Note that there are different types which we were not aware of. We had just 2 chairs on the terrace and pool entry, others had chairs on the terrace and then sun loungers in a shallow pool that lead to a deeper pool. Our room had a few issues such as missing light bulbs, no cushions on outdoor chairs which were resolved when mentioned to reception. Requested a cot/crib which was not there on arrival and when requested again took a while to arrive which was not great as we had a late arrival and wanted to put our baby to bed. We were on the family side with ocean view overlooking the pool bar. You could watch sunset which was nice but backed on to building work which looks a way off being completed. Note this is at the back of the hotel and so didn’t really affect us. All pool were lovely and swim up pool bar great fun. Kids club and kids waterpark were great and good range of slides for different ages. Restaurants were all great, food very good but note only 4 of the a la carte are on the family side and so we couldn’t go to the others which is not as advertised. The restaurants are not bookable unless on certain packages so do check that. This was a pain as you either go early 5.30pm or wait a while and process was awful. Beach nice but man made and not clear and no fish.

This is by far the best vacation i have had in my country. Rooms were large and had all amenities to suit my comfort. Dining experience great. Waterparks enjoyable. We stayed at the Princess Grand. Gym was A class and not to mention the Spa treatments. Staff was very attentive and super friendly. Security detail was at every level of the hotel. It was an overall splendid time spent.

The Princess Grand Jamaica is undeniably a stunning resort, but unfortunately, my recent stay was marred by significant service shortcomings. While I understand that new establishments may face initial challenges, certain issues we encountered were beyond acceptable. During our stay, our building went four consecutive days without housekeeping services. Essential amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels were not replenished daily, leading to considerable inconvenience. These lapses in basic services are concerning and detract from the overall guest experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to enhance the quality of service and ensure future guests have a more pleasant stay.

My stay at the Princess grand was mediocre at best. we had the platinum club swim up and compared to diamond and platinum at other resorts its was pretty basic. you did get a butler which the two we had did a good job. But if you usually pay extra for Club experience you know what I mean it should never be basic. The rest of the staff especially at the MVP restaurant cater more to caucasian travelers i’m assuming they thought they would get better tips. At times we would be sitting for 25 minutes before anyone comes up to to take your order. To be a new resort the cleaning staff did not do a a good job cleaning the rooms they ran out of basic washcloth and towels. The food at the Market buffet was better then the food at any of the multiple restaurants they have but at all the restaurants the food was luke warm. It just didn’t meet our expectations compare to other places at stayed at in JA.

My husband and I stayed at this resort from March 16th to 23rd, having paid for the Platinum services. While the resort itself has potential, our Platinum experience was marred by significant communication issues and inconsistent service. Our arrival was disorganized, involving multiple waits and a last-minute downgrade due to our room under maintenance. Our initial room keys didn't work, and our luggage never arrived as promised, forcing us to retrieve it ourselves. We were fortunate to have Butler Rayvon, (Ray aka big ray) who was consistently friendly and attentive. Ray, was a true highlight. His friendly demeanor and prompt attention to our needs were greatly appreciated. However, our second butler, Chris, was disappointing,did not provide the same level of service, often neglecting requests for basic necessities. frequently forgetting requests for basic amenities like towels and water. A clogged toilet went unaddressed for over four hours. The handling of my family access to the Platinum Lounge was a major disappointment. Despite initial information suggesting it would be complimentary, we were unexpectedly charged a substantial amount. (who were staying at the resort under a different booking, 40 of them to be exact). Presenting a missed opportunity for the resort to showcase the Platinum benefits to potential future customers within my family The process of bringing our family to the lounge felt like I was managing it myself.
