Great dtay at the Cliff. We had a partial Seaview the views were amazing. Breakfast was good but warm rather than hot. Food good quality. I feel the bar area whilst nice lacks atmosphere. The terrace has amazing views its a shame the nights were so cold as we couldn't use it fully but may be possible on a future stay. Renovations ongoing this affects the outside areas but didn't impact on us. Disruption was kept to a minimum. Reception staff and Breakfast service amazing.

We chose the Cliff for it's location, right by the beach and long boardwalk. Though the hotel was clean it was dated in areas. Our room had lovely views of the sea, especially the sun rise. The room was clean, bed very comfortable. Our only complaint was the bathroom. Some black mould on the tile grouting and some tiles broken. The light was very poor and the ventilator, once activated, would not go off. Breakfast was excellent with good choices and well cooked. All staff were very pleasant, especially dining staff. Some carpeting in communal areas were very tatty.

Lovely break, first time in Norfolk.

We had a lovely room on the first floor, not advertised as sea view, but it was there! Very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff were so lovely, Elge on reception recommended places to go. Maggie at breakfast was a breath of fresh air. Breakfast was lovely, loads of choice. We ate in the dining room, the food was excellent quality, unusual twists, beautifully cooked. I am coeliac, the staff were knowledgeable and made sure my food was safe.

Easy to get to the beach. Family friendly. Pleasant staff. Old worn carpets, needs modernising, fan didn't work in bathroom and couldnt open the window in there. Cooked breakfast was very greasy, was described as grilled but was fried. The egg benedict was good. Evening meals we're excellent value.

Everything ok but the breakfast scrambled eggs were stone cold and the salmon was part cold and part warm where it has been waiting on the hot plate and coffee took twenty mins to arrive. Would be nice to have oat milk in the rooms but lovely staff!

Starting with a very helpful receptionist, ending with delicious food! My partner and I had a perfect stay in this hotel! We only regret we had the opportunity to stay for one night but we will definitely come back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Lovely position for the beach and excellent views from the outside restaurant. (Shame about the wrinkly fake grass flooring) Attractive restaurant and tearoom Probably most unhelpful hotel I’ve ever been to but was good value If it had new stair carpets inside, new flooring outside and better trained staff it would be an excellent hotel

We have stayed before and all staff were friendly. However this stay some of staff not so friendly or helpful. No hangers in one of rooms booked and tv not working properly in another of the rooms we booked. The bar and restaurant is really nice but the Norfolk lounge needs updating. It needs cushions on sofas and needs making more comfortable. The continental buffet breakfast is basic for and needs more choice of fruit and yogurts.
